Kickstart Technologies Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2026

This policy explains how Kickstart Technologies Ltd. handles personal information through website enquiries, drawing uploads, CAD drafting, 3D scanning and document management services.

What we collect and why

Depending on your request, we collect contact details such as your name, email, telephone number and address; company and project details; instructions and correspondence; document-workspace user details; and personal information contained in drawings, files or site images. We use this information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, communicate about projects, provide requested services and meet legal requirements.

Please provide only information needed for your request and material you are authorized to share. We explain our purposes and obtain consent where required. Additional uses require appropriate notice and consent unless the law permits otherwise.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for website hosting, file transfers, document management and technical support. Depending on their role, they handle contact details, project instructions and uploaded files to operate these services and support the work you request. Our upload service uses an account held by Resolution Reprographics, a related company. Further information about these arrangements is available from our privacy contact. Our document management provider permits limited remote access from outside Canada for support or disaster recovery. Information handled abroad may be accessible to authorities under that country's laws. We may also disclose information with your consent or as permitted or required by law.

Website and browser storage

The website currently uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our upload form saves the contact details you enter in your browser using local storage to prefill future visits. This browser copy is separate from information you submit to us.

Protection and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. We retain it while needed for the stated purposes or legal or legitimate business requirements. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we securely delete it or remove identifying details. Required retention may prevent immediate deletion.

Your rights and privacy contact

You may request access or correction, withdraw consent on reasonable notice, or raise a privacy complaint. Legal exceptions apply. We explain any effect of withdrawing consent and respond within applicable legal time limits. Contact us for more information about our privacy practices and complaint process.
